Since 2008, NanoTemper has been moving science forward.
Our founders
NanoTemper was born in 2008 out of curiosity, passion, and conviction. When Stefan and Philipp met at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität Munich, they spotted what the life sciences community had largely overlooked: the untapped potential of thermophoresis. Faced with the limitations of existing protein research techniques, they built something new. MicroScale Thermophoresis (MST) - a remarkably sensitive method that brings researchers closer to transformative discoveries - led to something neither of them had fully anticipated: a company, a community, and a mission that hasn't changed since.
